About our collection

We are gradually adding photos of our collection to this website. We have started with artifacts in the Dairy Building. There is a fine collection of trophies and you can see the names of the master cheese and butter makers who won these awards.

Over the years, the people for Hastings County and the surrounding area have donated artifacts to the  the Hastings County Museum of Agricultural Heritage. Now the museum has  one of the most comprehensive collection artifacts used in cheese and butter making in Ontario. The collection reflects the importance of the dairy industry  in Eastern Ontario and the role the farmers, cheese makers and butter makers  have had, and continue to have, in the industry.
